Dungog is river-and-forest country in the northern Hunter, small rural holdings, bush blocks and grazing land along the Williams and Chichester valleys. Fencing here is mostly rural: boundary runs, paddock and yard work, and containment for animals, all of it in wire and steel rather than timber.
Built for rural blocks
Chainwire and welded mesh do the heavy lifting on Dungog properties. Mesh holds stock and smaller animals a rail fence would let through, and we match the gauge and bracing to what you are containing, from sheep and working dogs to a house yard backing onto bush. On sloping and uneven ground we step the run and set posts deeper so the line stays tight without gaps underneath. Where an old fence has had its day, we can pull it out and prepare the ground before the new one goes in.
Gates are made to suit the access, single, double or wide farm gates for vehicles and machinery, and galvanised steel throughout keeps maintenance to a minimum out where you do not want to be repairing a fence every season.
Across the Dungog district
We cover the properties and villages through the shire, including Clarence Town, Gresford, Paterson, Vacy, Martins Creek and Glen William. Whether it is a multi-acre boundary or a house paddock, we plan the run around the natural slope, tree lines and access before any post goes in.
Tell us the block and what you are containing at Dungog, and we will get out for a look.
