Construction Site and Temporary Fencing, Newcastle

Fast, compliant fencing that keeps a site secure and safe through every stage.

Temporary construction fencing with green shade cloth along a worksite.

Temporary fencing manages boundaries, protects workers and equipment, and cuts risk on any active site. We supply, install, relocate and remove temporary fencing for construction sites, events and emergency zones across Newcastle and the Hunter, from initial clearing through to handover, working around your build program.

Where it is used

Construction sites, to secure boundaries during early works, control entry for workers and vehicles, separate work zones from footpaths and roads, prevent theft of tools and materials, and meet safety obligations through every stage of the build.

Events, to define entrances, create staff-only zones and manage crowd flow at concerts, markets and sports venues, set up and packed down quickly.

Emergency response, to secure flood, fire and storm zones, fallen-tree sites and road closures, supporting access control during public-works and safety response.

Components and setup

Our temporary fencing systems include:

  • Welded mesh fence panels, typically 1.8 m high
  • Concrete or heavy-duty stabilising feet, and ground-driven posts where a more solid line is needed
  • Steel clamps, couplers and safety caps
  • Bracing for wind and uneven surfaces
  • Access gates for vehicles and equipment
  • Shade cloth or mesh screening on request

All components are kept in clean, service-ready condition and meet the required strength and visibility standards.

Compliance and site safety

Temporary fencing protects workers, contractors and the public by preventing unauthorised access, reducing liability on open sites, creating clear visual boundaries around machinery and footpaths, and supporting danger and entry signage. We install to SafeWork NSW work-health-and-safety expectations and local council requirements, and build to the temporary fencing and hoardings standard AS 4687. Where site managers or compliance teams need documentation, we provide it.

Installation and site management

We measure and mark the line, deliver and set the panels, brace and stabilise where needed, fit gates and access points, then return to reconfigure or remove as the build moves on. Fencing can be relocated for concrete pours, deliveries or crane access, and most installs are done in a few hours depending on site size. When the job wraps, we dismantle, clear the feet, clamps and debris, and remove everything cleanly to match your handover date.

Add-ons

Shade mesh for privacy and dust reduction, bracing arms for high-wind areas, signage boards, lockable pedestrian gates and ground pegs for soft surfaces all improve safety in high-traffic or public-facing areas.

Crowd and event barriers

We are sometimes asked about crowd-control and event barrier hire alongside temporary fencing. If that is part of your job, ask us and we will let you know what we can arrange.

Tell us the site, the stage you are at and how long you need it, and we will deliver a compliant setup that keeps the site secure and accessible.
