Privacy policy
Short version: you send us details to get a fence quoted; we use them to quote the fence.
This site is operated by Walters Fencing (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN 60 109 587 813), trading as Chainwire Fencing Specialist, of 15 Grattoir Pl, Toronto NSW 2283.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect what you type: usually your name, phone number, email, suburb and a description of the job, plus any photos or plans you attach. The site also keeps ordinary technical logs (pages requested, approximate region) to keep it running and secure.
What we use it for
Quoting and doing your job: contacting you, visiting the site, scheduling the work and invoicing it. We do not sell your details or use them for third-party marketing.
Where it lives
Enquiries are delivered to our office email and stored in the systems our website provider runs for us. Attachments you upload are kept for a limited period (currently 30 days) and then deleted automatically.
Third parties
We use service providers for website hosting and spam protection. They process data on our behalf and do not get to use it for themselves. Where a job involves a builder or site manager you have named, we will discuss the job with them, that is usually the point.
Your choices
Want your enquiry details corrected or deleted? Email admin@chainwire-fencing.com or call 02 4023 5416 and we will sort it out. If you are not satisfied with how we handle personal information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
