Chainwire Fencing Hunter Valley

One big, mixed region where the fencing job changes with the country, rural, industrial and town.

The Hunter Valley is a big, mixed patch, vineyards and grazing country, coal operations and power stations, and growing river towns from Maitland up to Muswellbrook and Scone. We fence across all of it, and the job changes a lot depending on where in the valley you are.

One region, three kinds of fencing

Out on the properties it is rural work, chainwire and mesh boundaries, stock yards and gates in wire and steel, not timber post-and-rail. Around the mines, contractor yards and industrial estates it is security, barbed-topped galvanised perimeters, heavy vehicle gates and lockable compounds, installed by crews ticketed for rail and industrial sites. And through the towns it is the everyday mix, residential boundaries, school and sporting grounds, and commercial premises.

Galvanised steel suits the valley climate, hot and dry through summer, and needs almost no upkeep once it is in. Ground varies from flat river flats to rocky slopes, so posts and tensioning are set to suit each block.

Where we work in the Hunter

We cover the valley including Maitland, Cessnock, Singleton, Branxton, Greta, Muswellbrook and Scone, with the workshop down at Toronto on Lake Macquarie. Rural runs and larger commercial jobs are the usual fit further up the valley.

Tell us where you are in the Hunter and what you are fencing, whether it is a rural boundary, a yard perimeter or a town block, and we will scope it.
