Press-formed spear top fencing is the pointed-picket steel fence you see around schools, public buildings and secure sites. You may also hear it called school security fencing, diplomat style, or Brentwood style. The formed spear tops make the fence genuinely hard to climb or grab, which is why it has become a go-to where deterrence matters and a plain boundary is not enough.
Why it works
The pointed top removes the easy handhold at the very place an intruder would try to pull themselves over, and the vertical pickets give nothing to brace against. It is a strong visual deterrent as well as a physical one, and it does the job while still looking clean and formal rather than industrial. Schools in particular reach for it to cut down break-ins and vandalism out of hours.
Heights and layout
Standard heights are 1.8 m, 2.1 m and 2.4 m, and we can manufacture to a height that suits your site. Where the ground is uneven or sloping, panels can be raked to follow the fall while keeping the spear line even, the same approach we use for fencing on steep and uneven ground.
Gates to match
The fence takes either swinging or sliding gates, and both can be manual or automated depending on how the entry is used. Gates are built in the same profile and finish as the run so the perimeter reads as one line.
