An animal enclosure has to suit the animal, its size, its behaviour and how it tries to get out. We design and install fencing systems for domestic pets, livestock and wildlife across Newcastle and the Hunter, adjusting mesh gauge, height, post spacing and access to the containment the animal actually needs.
Built to the animal

Materials and mesh
Materials are chosen for the animal and the exposure:
- Chainwire mesh in custom gauges
- Welded wire mesh with a smaller aperture for small animals
- Galvanised posts and frames
- Optional PVC-coated mesh
- Buried mesh skirts to stop digging
- Overhead netting or angled tops for climbing species
Everything is corrosion resistant and built to take scratching, rubbing and climbing, with post heights set to the containment each enclosure needs.
Access and safety
Every enclosure needs a safe way in. We fit single or double swing gates, sliding gates for wide vehicle access, secure locks, self-closing hinges where safety calls for it, and gates with mesh infill matching the fence. Access points are placed around feeding, cleaning and enclosure layout so both animals and carers move safely.
Good animal fencing considers more than height. We assess pressure points where animals lean, rub or push, jumping and climbing behaviour, digging and escape attempts, sharp edges or exposed fixings, and shared fence lines between pens, so the enclosure contains the animal without injury or distress.
Installation
We consult on site and mark it out, set posts in concrete footings, fit mesh rolls or panels, install and align gates, then inspect the containment and safety zones. We schedule around property access, weather and any ongoing operations, and can build extensions or partial fencing around existing sheds and yards.
