Bulahdelah sits at the gateway to the Myall Lakes, forest and lake country where the highway meets a landscape of state forest, farmland and small rural holdings. Fencing out here is rural and practical, boundary and paddock runs, roadside and wildlife barriers, and secure yards for sheds and machinery.
Rural and roadside fencing
Our rural work is wire and steel, chainwire and mesh boundaries, stock and yard fencing, not timber post-and-rail. Mesh holds stock and smaller animals, and along roads and highway edges chainwire is the standard for keeping wildlife off the bitumen. For sheds and equipment we build secure compounds with barbed tops and lockable gates, sensible protection on a property that is not always occupied.
Galvanised steel is the material of choice this far from town, it stands up to the weather and needs next to no upkeep, which matters when you are not keen to be out repairing a fence every season. On uneven forest-edge ground we step the run and set posts to suit rather than forcing a straight line. Where a job is short-term, a works site or an event on a rural property, we can also supply temporary fencing that needs no permanent postholes.
Bulahdelah is on our regular run up the coast, so a job here fits into scheduled travel rather than a special trip. Tell us the property and what you are fencing or containing, and we will work it into the schedule and come for a look.
