The Central Coast runs from the edge of Lake Macquarie down to the Hawkesbury, a string of beach towns, growing commercial centres and bushland reserves. We fence right across it, and the one thing every coastal job has in common is the salt, so the material choice matters as much as the build.
Fencing built for a coastal climate
Salt-laden air is hard on fencing, and a cheap, poorly galvanised fence near the coast can streak with rust inside a couple of seasons. We build with properly galvanised steel and quality fittings, and PVC-coat in black or green where a sharper finish is wanted, so the fence stands up to the conditions rather than becoming a maintenance job. On secure sites we go further, higher chainwire with barbed or razor-wire tops where the risk justifies it.
The work is a full spread, commercial and industrial security perimeters, sporting courts and school grounds, council reserves and public facilities, and residential boundaries. Coastal blocks range from flat suburban yards to steep, sandy or salt-prone ground, so posts and tensioning are set to suit each site.
Where we work on the coast
We cover the region including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Wyong, Tuggerah, The Entrance, Toukley and Woy Woy. The workshop is up at Toronto on Lake Macquarie, an easy run to the northern coast.
Tell us where you are on the Central Coast and what you are fencing, and we will get out for a look.
